Doubt Made Wings is a contemporary artwork about faith, doubt, and the weight of falling grace. The figure stands in a deep black void, wings spread but damaged, uneven, bending under their own burden. The face does not look up. It looks down. This is not triumph. This is the moment after.

No paint. No print. No ink. The figure emerges through controlled surface damage on acrylic glass. Every scratch catches the light differently, and as the viewer moves, the image shifts between contrast and calm, between clarity and shadow. The darkness is not applied. It is what remains when the light finds nothing to hold.

From a distance, the silhouette reads as monumental, heavy with meaning. Move closer, and the image dissolves into a field of controlled scratches, each mark a quiet decision. The wings exist because the surface was altered. The figure stands because something was taken away.

Doubt is not the opposite of faith. It is faith carrying its own weight. The damaged wings do not suggest failure.
