A contemporary interpretation of one of the most iconic gestures in art history. Created with black steel nails on a black surface, the work focuses on distance, tension and the silent space between two hands.

Unlike the original image, where the hands never truly touch, this work can change throughout the day. At certain moments, the shadows of the nails can reach each other, creating a temporary connection made only by light.
