The image exists in depth, not on the surface. Every visible point is a controlled absence in the material, and the figure appears only where light finds those voids and returns. As the viewer moves, the emergence continues in real time. Points brighten, sink back, reappear. The work is never finished appearing.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eBecoming visible is not a single event. It happens in stages, unevenly, and parts of every person stay in the dark for good.
