It is the piece's clearest symbol, the body understood not as flesh alone but as a built thing, a house with a structure worth climbing into, a cathedral of bone holding up something worth protecting.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe image is always present, whether the room is bright or dim. Light does not create the image. It sharpens it. Under direct light the ribcage catches and reflects, the contrast deepens, and the architecture inside the chest becomes almost readable as a place rather than a diagram.
