What stays legible is deliberately spare, the places where the helmet opens, where skin meets shadow, and where a gaze meets the viewer.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThis is Ayrton Senna reduced to his most private moment before a race, the instant the visor lifts and the driver becomes visible again, if only for the width of two eyes. Everything else, the speed, the noise, the fame, stays in the dark. What remains is concentration, a kind of stillness just before motion.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eNo paint. No print. No ink. The image is scratched into the surface of the acrylic glass, a field of individual marks that the eye reassembles into a face the way memory reassembles a person from a handful of details. From a distance the portrait is monumental and quiet.
