The darkness does not stop at the doorway. It moves outward, slowly claiming the body until almost nothing remains but the suggestion of a shape that once stood whole.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThis image does not exist because something was painted onto the acrylic glass. It exists because something was taken away. Every line of the staircase, every edge of that impossible door, is a controlled scratch cut into the surface, a mark made by absence rather than addition. Standing close, the eye finds only a field of scratches, a texture with no obvious meaning. Step back, and the figure assembles itself out of that same disorder, monumental and still.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eLight is what completes the work. As it shifts across the surface, the staircase seems to breathe, the void deepens or thins, and the body moves between visibility and disappearance, never settling into one fixed state.
